Parent and Family Workshops

Northwest Family Services also offers parenting classes and family workshops on handling the teen years. These typically are organized and arranged by a school or community group who can guarantee a minimum number of participants (varies according to program).

A large contingent of our parenting classes falls under our Latino outreach. High schools and middle schools across the state host Latino parent nights and NWFS is proud to be able to offer workshops that address setting standards and helping teens make informed decisions about dating and sexual activity.

NWFS is also able to provide short workshops well suited for a conference on parenting or family life. This is a great way to offer specific information on raising healthy teens to interested parents.
