Encuentros

A Spanish-language drama performed for both middle and high school audiences. This drama is story of teenagers facing complex issues: gangs, drugs, premarital sex, and self-respect.

Encuentros tells the stories of four teenagers. Enrique finds himself in conflict at home and school, and he looks to local gang members to fill the emptiness in his life. Lola has had very negative experiences with gang life, and is looking for a way out. Marisela and Andrés are entering a difficult chapter in their relationship, wondering whether or not to take their relationship further. Together, these four help each other decide which path to take: a life-saving path or one of self-destruction.
