Class Presentations

NWFS has a team of trained and dedicated youth and family educators who are able to give classroom presentations in the greater Portland, Oregon, area on any of the topics and issues that fall under our Youth Solutions curricula. These topics include:

  • Maturity
  • Respect
  • Goal-Setting
  • Friendship
  • Abstinence
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Dating Safety
  • Standing up to Pressure
  • Refusal Skills
  • Drugs/Alcohol
  • Gangs

These presentations can be a supplement to health, personal development, and family life classes both at the middle and high school levels. Presentations are designed to be educational and interactive, and can be tailored to fit a particular class’ needs.

A typical middle school class presentation on abstinence would include:

  • Identifying and maintaining positive goals;
  • Recognizing and resisting pressure;
  • Playing the Consequence Dice Game;
  • Learning about the freedoms that come with a commitment to abstinence.

Please call NWFS at 503-215-6377 to ask about options and availability.
