NWFS Programs

After-school, Club, and Summer Programs

Clubs, after-school, and summer programs can be a great place to lay the foundations of character education. Outside of a traditional class or school setting, Northwest Family Services integrates its messages with a more mentoring and activity-based approach.

These programs are flexible in audience, setting, and topic. Northwest Family Services teaches character-building class series to late elementary, middle, and high school audiences. We are able to meet with groups for one or two times, or set up a series of 4-6 classes that can cover materials in greater depth. School and community program coordinators are welcome to choose from a list of program topics including:

  • Self-Esteem
  • Goal-Orientation
  • Relationships
  • Abstinence
  • Healthy Friendships
  • Risk-Avoidance
  • Peer Pressure and more.
